You can use this board for a variety of purposes, such as food preparation, bar work, quickly making sandwiches or enjoying a piece of fruit. Crafted from Vermont Maple wood, this board is built to last for everyday use. Wood is a remarkable natural material that expands and contracts with changes in moisture and humidity. Proper and consistent care of this product will protect it for years.

After each use, hand-wash the board with warm, soapy water and dry it thoroughly with a towel. Never soak or submerge the board in water, run it through a dishwasher, or use it in a microwave. Placing hot pots or pans on the board can result in a permanent burn mark.

To maintain the board's finish, apply JK Adams Mineral Oil and/or Beeswax Wood Conditioner once a week, using a lint-free cloth. Apply the conditioner to all surfaces, including the edges and ends, until the finish is established, and whenever the board feels dry.

If the grain of the product becomes raised and feels rough, lightly buff the affected area with 200-grit sandpaper to smooth the finish. After this process, reapply the JK Adams wood conditioner.

The wood type is Walnut, a softer and more absorbent hardwood that will lighten with exposure to light. Use the provided conditioners whenever the product feels dry.
